Warrior Wins National Competition
Warrior was awarded first place in the Iraq Memorial Art nationwide competition. The competition was sponsored by Art Cries Out, an organization that supports and promotes art about deep social issues. For more information, check their website. Courtroom Art
Rohde was recently the courtroom artist for WLOS-TV during the trial of former sheriff Bobby Medford. A sample of the drawings used in the news broadcasts is now on this web site under the "Artwork" section.
Current Exhibits
- Rohde's painting Pleasantville is currently in "The Bold and The Beautiful" exhibit in Hendersonville, NC. This show is for works by artists featured in Bold Life Magazine over the past five years. It is located in the gallery of the Arts Council of Henderson County, 538 N. Main Street, Hendersonville, NC, 28739. More information can be found in this article in the current issue of Bold Life Magazine. The exhibit will continue through Saturday, June 21. Hours are M-F 1-5 pm and Sat 1-4 pm.
